Michael L. Benson

Michael is a lifelong resident of Chillicothe. He attended Chillicothe High School prior to attending Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio. Michael then graduated from Capital University Law School, and has been practicing law in Chillicothe since that time.

Michael acts as the Chief Legal Officer for eFuse, Inc. based out of Columbus, and when not acting in that role, he focuses primarily on trial law with cases involving personal injury, criminal defense, domestic relations, and civil law. Michael practices in south-central Ohio, and he would be happy to help you.

When not working, Michael is very much involved with his family and in the community. He is married to Kaitlyn Benson, and they have two children, Annabelle and Brady. When not working, he is always found spending time with his wife, children and their families. He is the son of J. Jeffrey Benson, with whom he practiced until he retired.

Michael is very active in the community. He is serving on the Ross County Park District Board, the Ross County Republican Executive Committee, and the Chillicothe Education Foundation board. He has also served as chairman of the Coppel Athletic Complex Board, and was a member of the Chillicothe Junior Achievement Board.
